The circuit breaker that controls them also controls the kitchen and hall lights, which were unaffected and the circuit breaker had not tripped. Then when I was away last week I got a message from the wife saying all the lights had gone off in the lounge.
Yes, I realise in hindsight this may have contributed to what has happened since!įor a week or 2, all was well. The other 4 or 5 remained as the previous, non-LED bulbs. They were working fine until a couple of bulbs blew the other day, which I replaced with dimmable LED bulbs. They're GU10 bulbs, six or seven of them. Anyway, in the lounge I've got a 1-gang, 2-way dimmer switch for the lights. Far from it, but I don't mind having a go at most things if they're possible with some basic tools and some guides to follow. First off, I'm not a professional electrician.
